Taking your treasured photo (either traditional or digital photo), we'll transform it into a cherished keepsake for your loved one! Our custom portrait knit blankets measure 40" x 60" and are knitted from your photo, with over a half million stitches...there is no screen printing, the actual photo is knitted onto the afghan - No fading or washing away! Your color photo is stitched in classic black, white and grey tones as shown and finished with a classic gray trim. Personalization is FREE, for up to 3 lines of text! Each knitted afghan is quality crafted and known for its durability and softness. They are static free, hypo-allergenic and pill-resistant. Easy to care for, they remain resilient and keep their color; will not run, fade or bleed under normal conditions. Machine wash in cold water (NEVER use bleach!) & air or tumble dry on the gentle cycle. Your photo can be black & white or color (we'll convert it to grayscale for you), but the finished afghan will ALWAYS be in black, white & graytones. This color scheme provides a classic, crisp photo keepsake! This unique product may require creative cropping and composition. The photo may be enlarged so as to create the most beautiful rendition possible.
WE ACCEPT ONLY .JPG DIGITAL PHOTOS WITH A RESOLUTION OF 200 OR MORE DPI AND AT LEAST 60k in size. Types of DIGITAL photos we accept:

Color or black & white digital photographs
1 to 3 people, pets or objects per photo
Close-ups, clear & bright photos will produce the best results
Saved as .JPG file with NO COMPRESSION
File size AT LEAST 60k up to 700k (Files under 60k will not be processed)
 When scanning photographs, use a resolution of 200-300 DPI (dots per inch). If taking a digital picture, set your camera at the highest possible resolution. (You can always reduce the resolution later. Low-resolution images cannot be increased without loss of image quality) Once your order is placed, you can email us your photo.

By submitting your photo for creation, you are certifying that you are the legal owner of the photo or have permission to use it and that it does not infringe on any copyrights or laws governing it.
